What a move-in or move-out cleaning covers
We provide a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning to prepare a property for a new occupant, or to help a tenant leave it in excellent condition. It is a specialty service for an empty property, with its own checklist.
Baseboards, doors and door frames are detailed throughout. Interior windows are cleaned with their frames, sills and accessible tracks, and both sides of accessible blinds are dusted and wiped when that can be done safely. The oven and the empty refrigerator are cleaned inside, and so is every empty kitchen and bathroom cabinet and drawer. Closet shelves, rods and floors are cleaned when empty, the kitchen and bathrooms get thorough detailing, accessible A/C vent covers are dusted and wiped, and one sliding glass or patio door is cleaned inside and outside. The checklist lists every item.
A patio, balcony or garage, and extra patio doors, can be added if you book them in advance.

The property needs to be empty
For this cleaning the property should be substantially empty of furniture and personal belongings, and all cabinets, drawers, appliances and the refrigerator must be empty before we arrive. Classmaids does not unload, move or reload personal belongings.
So for a move-out, book the cleaning for after the movers have been; for a move-in, before your furniture arrives. We can’t reclean areas after later work by other trades, such as painting, flooring or appliance installation, so schedule us after them.

If you rent, the state of the property when you leave often decides how much of your deposit comes back. If you are moving in, a home that looks clean is not the same as one that has been cleaned for you. Book as soon as you know your closing or lease-end date. Leases tend to end at the end of the month, so the last and first few days of each month are the first to fill.
